Location and Directions to the County Range, Sneedham’s Green

Directions from Gloucester:
- From the Gloucester bypass, Eastern Avenue (A38), take the B4073 to Painswick (Painswick Road).
- After about 3/4 mile there is a set of traffic lights, carry straight on.
- At the next traffic lights (about a mile) carry straight on again, and after about 1/2 a mile take the turning on the right just before the M5 motorway bridge goes over the road. This is Corncroft Lane and is signposted to Brookethorpe.
- Continue on this road for about a mile (Corncroft Lane runs into Winnycroft Lane). As you leave the housing estate behind, and go out into the country, go over the M5 motorway bridge.
- The road crosses over the motorway (and runs into Upton Lane) and within three hundred yards after the bridge, the range entrance is on the left. The entrance is through a farm gate, set back from the road, between hedges.
- The range is adjacent to a large grey building (Glevum Target & Sports Club), some 100 yards in front of you as you go through the gate. The track is ‘unmade’ so please drive carefully.
- Parking is on the lower-level grassed area.
Directions from the M5 (Junction 12):
- Leave the M5 motorway at Junction 12, and TAKE THE B4008 (signed Stonehouse).
- After a few hundred yards, take the first left turn signposted to Haresfield.
- Follow the road signs to Haresfield – 1 mile.
- Pick up the signpost to Brookthorpe.
- Follow the road signs to Brookthorpe – 2 miles.
- Just through Brookthorpe, at a major road “T” junction, turn right towards Stroud.
- Go past the ‘Fagins’ pub on the right.
- In 50 yards take the left turn signposted to Upton.
- In 1.3 miles, before crossing the motorway, on the right is the entrance to the range.
- The entrance is a farm type gate that is set back from the road, between hedges. There is a sign in the hedge to the right of the gate for “Paintball Raiders” & “GT & S Club”.
- The range is adjacent to a large grey building (Glevum Target & Sports Club), some 100 yards in front of you as you go through the gate. The track is ‘unmade’ so please drive carefully.
- Parking is on the lower-level grassed area.
